Carly
Carly is from Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing from San Francisco State University. She has extensive experience with dogs and has put in numerous volunteer hours at dog shelters, has helped with whelping of puppies is a natural at dog handling. She decided to work full-time with those she loves in 2009 by starting Dogstar with her sister Danielle. This year her goal is to become a certified dog trainer.
She’s a sucker for the retrievers and you’ll often find Jake, her chocolate lab, joining her on daily adventures. The word has spread that she LOVES what she does, so much so that she has hired a few more incredible hands to help her with her Doggie friends.

Melissa
Melissa joins us from Orange County, CA. She graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. As you can see, she certainly knows how to communicate with all four- legged friends; they LOVE her! She grew up with toy breeds however is enjoying working with all breeds and sizes of dogs and is honing in on her training skills.

Sondra
Sondra joins us from San Diego. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from the University of California and her experience as a Veterinary Nurse, passion for exercise and the arts make her a perfect fit for us. She’s a pack leader that gives her dogs a good workout. Pitbulls and strong breeds hold a place in her heart but as you’ll see she loves all dogs and provides them with an amazing time when in her care.

Laura
Laura joins us from Los Angeles, CA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Azusa Pacific University and her eye for design and photography will impress you daily. Her calling could be pet photographer! She grew up with animals throughout childhood and is the go-to friend for animal care. Her caring and true passion to work with animals makes her a welcome addition to the team.

Emily
Emily joins us from Annapolis, MD. She graduated from a veterinary assisting certification program and pursued her passion for animal care working at Grateful Pets where she did pet sitting and office management. Her many years of experience are a true asset at Dogstar. Emily’s passion for every client’s well being as well as her sidekick Poppy makes her a Dogstar Favorite.

Justin
Justin is a native Northern California guy. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema Studies from San Francisco State University. When he’s not working hard on films, he’s working with the next best thing- dogs! Bulldogs, Basset hound’s and of course the beloved Wheaten’s are some of his favorite breeds but this dog lover has a hard time passing any dog by. He’s a champ and looks forward to bringing a smile to your dog’s face!
